| CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND | Merita Dinaj, PhD (c), holds degrees in History and Law and a Master of Science in International Commercial Law. She is currently a Doctor of Science (PhD) candidate in European Law, with research focused on “The Challenges and Perspectives of Education in Albania within the framework of the European Education Area (EEA)”. With more than a decade of professional experience in higher education, she has held several leadership and management positions in academic institutions in Albania. She previously served as Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Unit at the University of New York Tirana, where she contributed to the development and implementation of institutional quality assurance systems and continuous improvement processes. She also worked within the Office of the Rectorate, supporting institutional management, strategic planning, and organizational coordination at the university level. |
| POSITION | She currently serves as Delegated Administrator at Barleti University, where she contributes to institutional governance, strategic development, and the coordination of academic and administrative activities. |
| CONTRIBUTIONS | Her professional and academic engagement has been focused on the development of quality in higher education, in accordance with European standards for education and scientific research. She has contributed to international academic projects and programs, the organization of scientific conferences and academic events, and institutional initiatives aimed at improving quality and promoting the internationalization of higher education. |
