The Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Finance covers the important profiles of the field of economics such as: management, marketing, finance and accounting, harmoniously combining knowledge and practical skills so that students can better orient themselves in the national and international labor market. This department aims to prepare specialists in the field of economics in the profiles: Management, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, who are capable of working in the public and private sectors: in businesses, accounting offices, banks, financial institutions, etc.

Our students can be employed in the public and private sector both internally and externally and abroad in the positions: Marketer or public relations specialist in business; Business management; Management and administration of public enterprises; Marketing and human resources specialist; Accountant; Financial.

The Department of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Finance is committed to it developed a functional and effective learning system for the students of the programs the field of finance, management and marketing, as well as offering a variety of continuing training and qualifications in the field of accounting.

The Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Finance aims to prepare skilled and prepared managers, financiers and marketers, with competencies to adapt to the labor market, to integrate teaching with scientific research by reflecting it in lesson plans and subject programs updated according to the experience of western countries.

In the Department we have a combination of several fields of economy such as: finance, accounting, management, marketing, etc. At the center of our activity will be the student, who wants to specialize practically and theoretically in these fields, not only in master's programs, but also in the third cycle of Doctorate as well as in special practical courses.

MAIN ACTIVITY DIRECTIONS

In the field of business, the field of leadership and strategic orientation involves the study and practice of how leaders guide organizations in setting and achieving their long-term goals and objectives. This field explores different leadership styles, decision-making processes, and organizational culture to optimize an organization's strategic direction, adapt to changing environments, and achieve sustainable success.

Business Administration functions have traditionally included four functions such as: Planning, organizing and directing resources, including people, to achieve organizational objectives in an effective and controlled manner.

The program provides a sequence of specialized instruction in accounting theory, financial reporting requirements, cost measurement issues, budgetary control, auditing, tax and customs duties, and financial management systems that help the student prepare for the labor market.

In the field of business, the field of digital business, also known as e-business or electronic business, focuses on the use of digital and Internet technologies to carry out various aspects of business operations, transactions and interactions.

Marketing practice is seen as a creative industry, which includes advertising, distribution and selling. In fact, the package of marketing services is much broader and specialized. Marketing anticipates the future needs and trends of the consumer, which are often discovered through what is called "market research".

Mechanisms of recruitment, selection, design of compensation systems, continuous development of employees, their management and their career management that influence the creation of an engaged and productive workforce.

Creating value through the development and/or expansion of economic activity, identifying and using new products, processes or markets and seeing entrepreneurship as the act of launching startups and various corporations.

Bachelor

The programs of the first cycle of Bachelor studies last 3 academic years, with a load of 180 credits. The integrated programs are 300 * or 360 * credits and the normal duration is 5 or 6 academic years.

Master of Science

The programs in the second cycle of Master of Science studies last 2 academic years with a load of 120 credits.

Professional Master

The programs in the second cycle of Professional Master studies last 1 or 2 academic years with a load of 60 or 120 credits.

Professional Diploma

Professional programs are up to 2 academic years after upper secondary education, with a load of up to 120 credits.

The program "Startups in Creative Industries and Digital Economy" is based on the fact that these enterprises, through digital platforms, bring unique products and services to the market. In the dynamic economic landscape, they have transformed the entertainment, design, etc. sectors, changing traditional business paradigms but also consumer behavior.

The "Entrepreneurship and Marketing for Sustainable Tourism" program, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, focuses on analyzing the value chain in tourism. The program studies the economic aspects and the development of sustainable trades, added value, the use of local resources and carries out research and concrete projects about them.

"Barleti Human Capital" is the program that connects the study of the labor market with education and training towards market needs. The program measures the productivity growth of the economic sectors starting from the interaction of supply and demand for work for a modern and future-oriented economy, capable of competition in the European market.
